Frankie {Richmond, Texas-Newborn Photography}

This little man holds a special place in my heart because his mommy and I are best friends from high school.  I was ecstatic when I received the news I would be photographing her new edition to the family.

Although the Texas weather was not in our favor the morning of Frankie's shoot we managed to get a few AMAZING outdoor images before the rain hit.  I think the heat really relaxed him because the rest of the session was a breeze.  He just makes your heart melt!!!

This ones for his daddy!!!

Elisa {Richmond, TX-On Location Photography}

I was so happy Elisa approached me when she did because this location suited her perfect!!!  It only takes a few minutes of talking with Elisa to clearly see she is a "Country Girl" at heart!!!  I love that she didn't mind putting her boots on and trucking through weeds and bugs to get to our destination.  If I remember correctly her exact words were "I raise a pig for FFA, this is nothing!"  Gotta love this girl!!!  

Had we waited a few more weeks we would have been out of luck because with the lack of rain fall it did not take long for this BEAUTIFUL pasture of flowers to dry up and simply disappear.  

Bass Family {Booth, TX- On Location Photography}

Meet the Bass Family!!!  I typically do not shoot newborns several weeks old, but I know this family personally and we decided to give it a shot.  I think the evening air mixed with Texas heat helped this little guy finally relax and fall asleep.  It did take him a bit, but it was all worth it in the end!  

    

Reagan {Richmond, Texas Newborn Photography}

This little beauty was not supposed to make her debut until August 8th.  Arriving six weeks early she was a little trooper!  After a 14 day stay at the hospital I finally got to meet beautiful Reagan!!!

While she was in the hospital I decide to have a custom owl hat made to match her nursery.  I was nervous it would not fit since she is so tiny, but anything would look adorable on this little angel!

Grace {Richmond, Texas-Newborn Photography}

Kamryn {Richmond,TX Vintage Child Photography}

As you all know by now I have two AMAZING little girls.  Being a photographer I am guilty of using my children as my little guinea pigs!  They tend to scout new locations with me, test out new props, and of course be my little models!  So far they still enjoy it, although Im awaiting the day I have to resort to bribery ;)

If I have not already properly introduced her in the past, this is my youngest beauty Kamryn.  She stays home with mommy during the day which makes it challenging to get work done because honestly could you resist this adorable little face.

I had been wanting to check out this new location I found for some time now and I am so glad I did.  I immediately fell in love and will be paying my secret spot a visit in the near future, let me know if your up for it!  I think it is the perfect setting to capture that amazing vintage look!

Kody & Courtney {Prom 2011}

I have to admit Im a bit bias when I talk about this amazing couple.  Kody is my handsome nephew and Courtney is his gorgeous high school sweetheart.  These two met at Kemper High and hit it off immediately.  Kody has the best sense of humor so Im sure it did not take long for him to have Courtney all smiles!  I could go on all day about these two and how proud I am to be a part of their lives, but I hope by now they already know!  I met my husband in high school so I can relate to the place they are at in their lives right now.  You never know what the future holds, but as of now these two are best friends and creating memories they will hold close to their hearts forever!

With a few schedule adjustments (thanks Kari) I was able to photograph this happy couple as they headed off to Prom!  We had a great time and I am so happy they wanted me to be a part of such an exciting day.  I have to say I am a very PROUD Aunt!!!
