I would consider myself to be a non-traditional photographer. I love stepping out of the norm to create unique one of a kind art. I’ve been asked, “What makes you love what you do?” For me this is quite simple. I love photography because GOD has blessed me with the gift of stopping time for someone else. I freeze a moment in your life that you will never be able to get back. Years down the road you will be able to relive that moment. Whether it is the yawn of your fresh newborn baby, the grin of your mischievous two year old, or the last days of your child’s High School years. Memories soon fade, but images will last forever. I will be the first to say I’m not the photographer for everyone and that is okay. I always ask that you review my portfolio to make sure my style is what you are looking for. It is very important to me that you value the creativity and art that goes into my work; therefore I book a limited amount of sessions per month because of the time involved. This also allows me to focus on your session and give it the same attention I would my very own family.
Now step into my world! I am a devoted Christian and wife to my High School sweetheart with two AMAZING little girls. I am always on the go and seldom experience a down moment. I am a bit ADD and OCD at times, but it works for me. I am guilty of hitting up the fast food drive through instead of cooking and follow each meal with something sweet. Yes, sweets and Dr.Pepper keep me going! My all time favorite movies are “Dirty Dancing” “Pretty Woman” and “Top Gun”. My favorite smell in the world is my two girls after a lavender bath. I love the color green. My sisters are my best friends. I taught aerobics at the college and was often mistaken for one of the students. I would love to be several inches taller but accept the fact that I got the SHORT gene! It has taken me several years to find a balance between work and life--actually still working on that one! I am a firm believer GOD will never give you anything you cannot handle, and I live by the motto “stand up for what is right even if you are standing alone.” I love meeting new people, and I hope you will be one of them.
